KARST d.o.o. Zagreb is one of the first companies in Croatia specialized in geotechnical works, founded in June 1995. Since its establishment, the company has been highly specialized in performing works in the field of geotechnical engineering (foundations, securing excavation pits, landslide remediation, slope protection, sealing and grouting, groundwater drilling, etc.). The company has been employing highly experienced designers since its foundation, actively contributing to the project’s implementation by optimizing and making improvements for the client.<\/p>

The company was founded 30 years ago by employees of the renowned company Geotehnika Zagreb, which was at that time one of the leading contractors in geotechnical engineering at the European and global level. The founders of the company, N. Kralj, I. Sori\u0107, \u017d. Sokoli\u0107, B. Krsti\u0107, B. Lazari\u0107, B. Vukadinovi\u0107, and D. Zvornik, courageously and visionarily embarked on a new business venture that remains active and significant in the regional market to this day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The name Karst is derived from the Croatian word “Kr\u0161,” the Slovenian “Kras,” the Italian “Carso,” and the English “Karst.” It refers to the phenomena of water\u2019s impact on carbonate rocks and the erosion of the rock mass.<\/p>

Inspired by the unique karst landscapes, known for their resilience and ability to shape over time, our company Karst symbolizes strength, innovation, and adaptability.<\/p>
